Paintings

  • All original artworks are signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

  • All original artworks are framed by a local framer in Cornwall. Artworks will be framed in a white, wooden frame unless discussed otherwise. Alternative framing may be subject to additional costs.

  • All original artworks are accompanied by care instructions which describe how to best care for your artwork.

Limited edition prints

  • A Giclée print (pronounced ‘gee-clay’) is a high-quality print made from specialised inkjet printers and printed on exceptional quality, archival, acid-free fine art paper.

    In the case of Molly Stephs artwork, original paintings are photographed or scanned on a flatbed scanner to capture the texture and the colour of the painting in incredibly high fidelity.

    Giclée printing uses archival, pigment-based inks, sprayed onto fine art paper in very fine droplets, to recreate the original artwork in high accuracy. It creates museum-quality prints that last a long time.

    Each Molly Stephs limited edition print is made to order in partnership with an independent, local studio in Cornwall. They are incredibly high quality using Giclée inks on 308gsm and 310gsm Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper.

  • All limited edition prints are signed and numbered by the artist.

  • Prints are wrapped in acid-free tissue paper, rolled and shipped in a stiff cardboard tube. They are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery to allow for tracking (UK only). International shipping is also available. Please see FAQs on Shipping for more information.

  • Prints are sent unframed as standard due to difficulties with shipping glass-fronted frames safely. If you would like your print framed, please contact me for a quote for framing and a bespoke art courier delivery at hello@mollystephs.com. 

  • Prints are offered in one or two sizes as standard but please contact me if you would like a quote for a larger size at hello@mollystephs.com.

  • All prints are shipped with care instructions which describe how to best care for Giclée prints.

Shipping and returns

  • Dependent on shipping location and method, you will typically receive your painting/print within 2-3 weeks of purchase. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your purchase has been shipped.

  • Smaller paintings and limited edition prints are shipped using Royal Mail and larger paintings are shipped with Parcel Force. I aim to dispatch the painting or print as soon as possible but please allow 10 working days from purchase to delivery.

  • I use a few providers to ship paintings and limited edition prints internationally. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your purchase has been shipped. Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery.

    Please note: Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their country for the delivery of original paintings and limited edition prints. These charges are not included in the price or shipping cost and are the buyer’s responsibility.

    Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please check with your local customs office for more information. Delays due to customs are also beyond my control and may affect delivery times.

Sustainability

  • I prioritise small, independently owned, local businesses for materials and services where possible. Original paintings are framed by an independent studio in Cornwall, sourcing environmentally sustainable and/or British materials where possible. I also partner with an independent studio in Cornwall for the production and printing of my limited edition prints.

  • Every painting and limited edition print is packaged with the environment in mind. I avoid single use plastic, source recycled materials where possible and re-use packaging materials where I can to reduce waste.
